Fundraising Manager – Trusts, Foundations, Corporates & Major Donors
HorsePower – The Museum of The King’s Royal Hussars, Winchester
Reports to: Fundraising Trustee - Works closely with: Curator and Fundraising Committee
Role Purpose
This role will play a key part in delivering HorsePower Museum’s next stage of development: raising £100,000 to support the redesign phase of the museum and helping to establish robust, sustainable fundraising practice.
The Fundraising Manager will lead on trusts and foundations, while supporting the cultivation of corporate partners and major donors, building long-term relationships that will underpin the museum’s future development.
Salary: c. £45,000 FTE (pro rata) – 15 hours per week @ £23.00 per hour
Hours: Part-time, flexible (minimum two days per week with one day per month on site)
Reports to: Fundraising Trustee (working closely with the Curator and volunteer Fundraising Team)
Term: Initially 12 months, renewable. Potential to expand scope as funding grows.

The Museum is currently seeking new Front of House volunteers - especially to cover Wednesdays and Saturdays. No prior experience is necessary and volunteering can be as often as you would like.
