The centre of winchester's military history
Winchester's Military Museums provide an excellent family day out. Five of our museums can be found at Peninsula Barracks, a Victorian complex that is the historic home of the Rifle regiments, and our sixth Museum lies just outside the City at Worthy Down.

Each museum offers a unique experience and has its own story to tell. There are fantastic collections of medals, paintings and military objects on display across the whole site, making a trip to Winchester’s Military Museums worth a visit.
